OPPORTUNITIES:
Copyright NZ offers a free online workshop for NZSA members, all about aspects of copyright and your rights, and our Northland branch has decided to take advantage of this and schedule a workshop for this year, possibly June or July.
If you would be interested in attending, please email us at northlandauthors@gmail.com and let us know whether you would prefer a daytime, evening or weekend session.
MESSAGE FROM DEB CURREEN:
Kia ora whanau and friends,
Expressions of interest are invited for an anthology of true short stories around remembrance and celebration of the life and legacy of a loved one who has died from suicide.
The collected stories are intended to uplift, heal and offer hope to other survivors of suicide who may still be struggling with the enormous and tragic loss of their loved one. And also give an insight into this difficult and not often talked about grief.
In the stories, family and friends will remember the beautiful, creative, generous, big lives that their loved ones lived before succumbing to the darkness of suicide. Also remembered will be, in some cases, a legacy of creativity, life and ongoing influence after their death.
If you have a story to share, please contact me for further information via PM or email at dcauthor1@gmail.com or go to More than this on facebook, link below.

There are no submission fees.
Submissions open June 1 and close on October 1. After that final decisions will be made on which stories will be accepted.
PLEASE SHARE TO YOUR PAGES AND GROUPS.
Blessings – Deb x
